Boundless Giveaway

Hump Day! I have officially spent 14 of the last 24 hours at SRD, so I am more than happy to have a 24-hour break before heading back to work tomorrow. On the plus side, I finished yet another book, and this one would stand to impress my fellow English majors. I plan on doing a brief review of all the books I complete this summer, so hang tight, because it's only three short weeks away.

Lunch

Today's lunch looked a lot like yesterday's, but instead of the lemon pepper vegetables, I had a heaping side of red grapes. I have had more than my fair share of grapes today, but as grapes are often quite expensive to buy at the grocery store, I always make sure to take full advantage of them when they are available to me at SRD.

Workout

After work today I walked on over to Gregory Gym to complete another mile and a half swim. It has been one HOT one today in Austin, Texas, so it felt good to get in the pool and escape the extreme heat. I also knew I wanted to get in a swim today because I am going home to Houston this weekend, and I tend to gravitate toward taking spin classes at the MAC rather than swimming laps in the normally-crowded pool, so this swim was an attempt at holding me over for the next few days, as I more than likely won't be in a pool.

Giveaway

And now, I am very excited to announce that Fitness & Fro-Yo is sharing its very first giveaway. Kelsey, who works for the startup Boundless, stationed in Boston, is a reader of my blog and reached out to me about a potential partnership with their company.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Boundless, here is a little bit of information about it. Boundless is working toward building an innovative learning platform that offers textbooks in more than 20 subjects with a plethora of interactive features. This is a wonderful textbook alternative that can be accessed on any computer, smartphone, or tablet, which allows you to access your study materials anytime, anywhere. That is great for all of us college students who find ourselves waiting somewhere for hours with a big test the next day, and not a textbook in sight. But, we do always seem to have our phones with us, don't we?

With the rising cost of textbooks, Boundless' $20 books offer a much affordable alternative. Though they will not be identical to your assigned textbook, Boundless has worked tirelessly to cover the exact same concepts as your assigned textbook. Boundless textbooks cover 20+ subjects and have learning technology that helps students remember key concepts, and there are also built-in flashcards and quizzes to aid you in your studying. Thousands of students are forgoing the expensive textbooks and discovering the Boundless alternative, and you can be apart of that ever-growing number.
And if you are in the incoming college class of 2017, or you know someone in the class of 2017 who you want to surprise with a "going off to college" present, these next few sentences are for you. Boundless so kindly reached out to me about sharing this giveaway with my readers, and one lucky participant has the opportunity to win an iPad mini and $200 in dorm gear. Simply follow this link, and in less than 10 seconds you could be on your way to winning some new technology as well as $200 in dorm gear. Happy entering!
